The Oros Strike Indicators make it easy to float our nymphs and detect strikes, so we know when to set the hook. Each two-piece indicator unscrews to make it easy to run our fly line through the middle of the float and then screw down to sandwich the float around the line to lock in our preferred depth. When we move from ripple to run to hole, we only need to unscrew the indicator to loosen our connection, adjust our depth, and screw the two halves back together to lock in our rig to float perfectly through some seams. The product includes a three-pack of indicators to keep a couple extras stuffed away in our vest or sling pack.
